How live typing races work
1 · Get matched by skill
Hit “Find a race”. You're matched with racers close to your rating — the longer you wait, the wider the search, so a race always starts. Up to 5 racers.
2 · Same text, same start
Everyone gets the exact same passage and the same GO signal. Typing unlocks only when the countdown ends.
3 · Race, rise, repeat
First to finish wins. Every counted race moves your rating — beating higher-rated racers lifts it more. Leaving mid-race counts as a loss.
Ratings & tiers
Everyone starts at 1000. Bronze below 1000 · Silver 1000+ · Gold 1200+ · Platinum 1400+ · Diamond 1600+ · Master 1800+. Your first 10 races are provisional and move your rating faster.
